General Guidelines

Stay calm; do not argue, resist, run, or obstruct officers.

You have the right to remain silent. You are not required to discuss your immigration or citizenship status with police, ICE agents, or other officials.

Do not claim to be a U.S. citizen if you are not.

Do not show fake or altered documents.

Do not carry foreign identification.

Do carry valid USCIS receipts, employment authorization cards, or permanent resident cards to prove your status.
